Electric Quilt Website (2nd generation)
This is the website for The Electric Quilt Company (my 9-5 job). The company makes quilt design software, so you can see your quilts on your screen before you sew them. This website is mostly HTML with some ASP pages added when special functionality was needed. There is an online shopping cart. With over 1,000 pages to the site, updating pages takes a lot of time.
www.electricquilt.com Features: * shopping cart system * online forums * contact forms * photo albums * password protected sections * PDF documents so surfers can save important data to their computers
Electric Quilt Website (3rd generation)
This new version of the electricquilt.com website is easily editable even with its 1100+ pages. The new site is completely ASP with much more coding. The website has been restructured with Cascading Style Sheets and Navigation Includes for easy updating. One of the new features to the site is a blog that we can post text and pictures to any time we want. The blog replaces our bi-annual newsletter and keeps customers coming back for new content more often.

Best Western Falcon Plaza (1st generation)
The BGBestWestern website is still a work in progress. Items worth checking out: jump menu of "quick links", flash photo tour (coming soon), meeting room request forms that is emailed to the correct person. This website was a fun adventure in working with the "rules of franchises". Best Western headquarters has specific rules on which links can and cannot be included as well as layout and image specifications.

Vertex Hinges (2nd generation)
The Vertex Hinges was a great chance to build a "parts" website. Due to the different finishes and end types of many of the hinges, figuring out the website organization was first on my list.
www.vertexhinges.com Features: * complete CSS design * mail server
* image hovering techniques
Champion Amusements (site no longer active)
Champion Amusements was a fun site to build. Imagine an arcade repair shop with hundreds of machines and parts all over the place. The website had to be organized into groups and then subdivided into individual parts or machine names. There was a lot of photography done --- many machines had 3 photos from different angles. I loved making sense out of the chaos and building an easy-to-navigate, organized, and understandable website. Unfortunately, the URL is no longer active. Features: * complete CSS design * image switcher for different photo angles
* interactive directions
Megan McMorris
This was my first website working with an outside graphic designer. Leslie was very organized and knew how to design, but not how to turn it into a site.
www.meganmcmorris.com Features: * complete CSS design
* image hovering techniques
* magazine pop-ups at a specific size
* creative use of transparency and rollovers
Matthew Bishop
This website is under construction again.
